I'm looking for a cool way to make attractive flyers, beyond the typical MS Wordart. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to do this for my fraternity's recruitment week. I want to be able to make some attention getting flyers, (e.g. I saw this one group who did a parody of the "fight club" logo, changing "fight club" to their fraternity's letters)
