Is My Redskin Helmet an NFL Original??

I Just bought from E-bay an Original Redskins Helmet and the appereance is very good,But on the inside I Noticed is not painted, got the grey plastic color,Some knows if the ones that use the players on the field got the same condition?? Or they are painted on the inside as well??
