Natural light or flash?

Shooting outdoors is always a challenge because at once second the sun will be blindingly bright, the next, it will be hiding and dark. For me, there is nothing better than natural light. I only use flash/ lighting if I know there will be no access to appropriate amounts of natural lighting. Then again depending on the quality of the flash/lighting you are using, if you do it right it could look natural while still allowing you to have more control than by simply using sun alone. I would say, (especially if you are shooting digitally) shoot both styles, shoot as much as you possibly can, and judge in the studio which looks best, or if you prefer both styles combined.
