What do you guys think about this engine I am currently building?

Im building an engine for my '54 ford half ton, Im making a street rod out of it and, I came up with a 72 429 for it, I have a cobra jet intake for it and a holley 750 double pumper for it, Im getting some 69 ford 460 heads for it which have the closed chamber, I think that should raise my compression quite a bit, Im not up on BB fords, what kind of cam should I use? I want something that has a pretty hairy lope to it, I dont plan on driving this truck more than a couple times in the summer mostly to the local drag strip and rod shows, Im not sure what kind of im gonna put behind it probably a C-6 with either a Dana 60 or a Ford 9 inch, probably gonna have 370 or 390 gears in it, oh and on the heads is there any porting work Im gonna have to do to make the heads work with the intake. thankyou in advance.
