Guitar String Question?

So my boyfriend's birthday is a month away and one of the things I want to get him are some nice guitar strings. He plays a fender strat and I think his acoustic is an Ibanez, and he also has a clical guitar. He's always talking about how much he likes Ernie Ball strings so I need to know what kind would be the best for his strat and if their acoustic strings are any good. Or, if you have any other sugggestions those would be great too! Thanks :)
