Pros and Cons of Clemson and University of Georgia?

I am a northerner transferring in as a junior and I have been accepted to both schools. I plan on playing club hockey and I will not have time for a fraternity so how will my social life be? Is it true that a lot of people go home on the weeekends at Clemson when football season is not in session? I don't go to church will I be looked down upon? Any other pros and cons of these two universities would be greatly appreciated.
