Why Haven't Tobacco Pipes Been Marketed Like Cigars?

There are a lot of factors. Some people ociate pipe smoking with their fathers or grandfathers. They don't want to think they are old. Cost can be intimidating at first. A good pipe will cost anywhere from $40 to $400. Time is also a factor, smoking a pipe takes time. Pipe smoking also takes skill, you simply cannot light up a pipe and go. You need to properly pack, light and smoke a pipe. A lot of people try and fail. None of these problems I have though, I started smoking a pipe when I turned 18, I didn't care about what people thought.
